We understand the financial constraints of some institutions and their researchers especially in developing countries. Thus, we have instituted a waiver policy that encourages researchers to publish their research work in the Research Journal of Food Science and Nutrition irrespective of their financial capability. We have a charging system where authors are charged based on the economic power of their countries as classified by the World Bank. Hence, there are different percentage waivers for authors from (1) LOW INCOME COUNTRIES (62% waiver), (2) LOWER MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES (55% waiver) (3) UPPER-MIDDLE-INCOME ECONOMIES (25% waiver) and (4) HIGH-INCOME ECONOMIES (0% waiver). Please see Processing Fee and World Bank Country Classification.
In extreme cases and after due consideration, it is also not unusual to grant full waivers to authors. However, authors should not take the advantages of our leniency.
