Waiver Policy
The Journal of Drugs and Pharmaceutical Science acknowledges the financial challenges that researchers, particularly those from developing countries, often face. To promote equitable access to publishing opportunities, we offer a flexible waiver system based on the World Bank’s classification of countries by economic status. This tiered approach ensures that authors from lower-income nations receive significant discounts or full waivers on publication fees, allowing them to disseminate their valuable research without financial obstacles. The waiver percentages are as follows:

Low-Income Economies: Automatic 62% waiver

Lower Middle-Income Economies: Automatic 55% waiver

Upper Middle-Income Economies: Automatic 25% waiver

High-Income Economies: No waiver applied
In exceptional cases, full waivers may be granted at the journal’s discretion. Authors are, however, expected to request waivers only when genuinely needed and not to exploit this policy.
