About JDPS
The Journal of Drugs and Pharmaceutical Science (JDPS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research across all areas of drugs and pharmaceutical sciences. The journal provides an international platform for researchers, academicians, and professionals to publish original and innovative contributions that advance knowledge and practice in the field. The journal maintains rigorous standards in its peer-review process to ensure the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of all published articles, while also ensuring rapid and efficient publication. Articles published in JDPS are of a high scholarly standard and contribute significantly to the advancement of pharmaceutical science. The Journal of Drugs and Pharmaceutical Science is published bimonthly (one issue every two months). All articles are freely accessible online, and hard copies of published articles are made available to interested authors upon request.
Scope of JDPS
JDPS covers a broad spectrum of topics, including the chemical, biological, and physical properties of drugs and vaccines, as well as their design, formulation, delivery systems, manufacture, and evaluation. In addition, the journal places strong emphasis on studies addressing the safety and adverse effects of drugs, vaccines, and traditional medicines, thereby supporting evidence-based and responsible pharmaceutical practice.
Article Types and Submission
The journal accepts submissions of original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, perspectives, and commentaries. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review and editorial process in accordance with internationally recognised standards and best publishing practices. Policies and Guidelines
The Journal of Drugs and Pharmaceutical Science operates in accordance with a comprehensive set of established policies and guidelines that ensure transparency, integrity, and high academic standards throughout the publication process. These include the Authors’ Guidelines, which provide clear instructions on manuscript preparation and submission; the Reviewers’ Guidelines, which outline expectations for objective, confidential, and constructive peer review; and the Editorial Policies, which define the roles and responsibilities of the editorial team in maintaining quality and fairness. In addition, the journal adheres strictly to recognised principles of Publication Ethics to prevent misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest, while the Waiver Policy ensures fairness and inclusivity by providing financial considerations for authors from eligible countries. Together, these policies guide the journal’s operations and uphold its commitment to ethical, credible, and accessible scholarly publishing.
