About JPMMS

Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science (JPMMS) (DOI: 10.31248/JPMMS) is an open access, peer-review Journal that publishes original and highly researched articles in all areas of Medicine and Medical Sciences. The Journal provides rapid system for reviewing and publishing and promotes communication among clinical researchers worldwide. Articles published in JPMMS will be of interest to doctors, nurses, researchers, health workers and other medical specialties. The Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science publishesbi-monthly, that is, one issue every two months. All published articles are freely accessible and ard copies of the published articles will be made available to the interested authors on request.

Types of Articles

The following types of articles are accepted for publication in the Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science: Full Length Research, Review, Short Communication, Case Report, Perspective and Editorial. Other types of articles are also accepted for publication in the Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science after the approval of the editor.

 

Publication Model

Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science operates an Open Access Model of Publication. All published articles are freely accessible online without any restriction.

 

Review Policy

The Journal operates a double blind review policy (i.e. the identity of the reviewers and authors are not disclosed to each other). Manuscripts are reviewed by Editorial Board Members or other qualified persons.

 

Article Processing Fee

The Article Processing Fee for the Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science is flexible depending on the country of the author as classified by World Bank: LOW-INCOME ECONOMIES, LOWER-MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMIES, UPPER-MIDDLE-INCOME ECONOMIES and HIGH-INCOME ECONOMIES (https://integrityresjournals.org/waiver-policy). The corresponding author will be contacted to make the require paymnet as soon as their manuscript is accepted for publication by the editor. Hence, authors are only required to pay the Article Processing Fee only after their manuscript has been accepted by the editor. Author should note that the journal does not charge submission or other hiding fee, the Article Processing Fee covers all the charges. Authors should contact Account Department at accounts@integrityresjournals.org for any enquiry related to the Article Processing Fee.

 

Waiver Policy

Journal of Practical Medicine and Medical Science grants 50% automatic waiver to authors from some developing countries (LOW-INCOME ECONOMIES, LOWER-MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMIES) as classified by the World Bank. Authors are encouraged to visit the Waiver Policy page  to see if they are eligible for a waiver.
